Introduction
Faculty aims to produce and train high skilled technologist in technical aspect at diploma and bachelor level. This program will be achieved with program that combined technology and engineering with integrated applied and skilled. This faculty suggested offering courses focusing on industries in the East Coast Industrial Corridor of peninsular Malaysia mainly in chemical, petrochemical and manufacturing.Faculty objectives are to produce professional and half professional in electrical and electronics engineering. It also to develop specialization in electrical and electronics related with chemical, petrochemicals, manufacturing and process industry needs.
This faculty will also embark on research and development activities in electrical and electronics to produce technologist relevant to the needs of industries especially at East Coast region. It is hoped that it will become the centre of reference for industry. It also hoped that this faculty will functions as a centre that channels innovative research products and expert services in electrical and electronics engineering to the local industries.

FACULTY OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
Introduction
The faculty is established to produce knowledgeable, high skilled and competitive graduates within the sphere of software engineering, system and computer network. At the beginning, the faculty had two fields which are Software Engineering and Computer Systems.The faculty has also embarked on research and development activities in the area such as information systems, software engineering, computer systems, communication systems, graphic and multimedia technology to produce technologies that are relevant to the needs of industries. Currently, the faculty has four research groups which are Network & Security, Modeling & Simulation, Data Mining & Knowledge Management and Graphic & Image Processing to support university’s focus groups (Manufacturing & Automotive and Chemical & Biotechnology).
The faculty’s current planning is to be an ICT reference centre in Pahang to support the development of East Coast Economic Region (ECER), Malaysia. To realize this, many activities which involve industries and government sectors have been carried out.

Introduction
The Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and Technology Management was established in 2008 with an aim to train and produce competent professional.
