This is the 3rd conference in Engineering and Technology organized by Technical Universities Network (TUN) with participation by UniMAP, UTHM, UTeM and UMP. The main purpose of this meeting is to share research outcomes especially those that fulfill industrial requirements in order to enhance collaboration with the manufacturing industries. Therefore, major areas of the manufacturing environment including Product Design, Manufacturing Technology, Handling System, Manufacturing Support System and other areas of Engineering & Science and also Emerging Technologies will be discussed. However, participants from other areas under Social Science & Management are also encouraged to join this conference. The sharing of the latest research outcomes among academicians will result in a higher level of research quality. This conference will hopefully become a platform to address current critical issues such as fast product development, shorter time to market, toward customization and miniaturization, and global competitions. Furthermore it is also a platform for young researchers to learn and gain exposure in the related fields.
For conference, each MTUN Universities are invited to submit the best 50 research papers (MAXIMUM) which had been evaluated by Technical Review Team each universities.
Concurrent with the conference, there will also be a research exhibition in Berjaya Megamall, Kuantan which will be participated by MTUN researchers. Each MTUN universities will display 10 research products.
